The Watch GT 3 Pro is a clear statement of what Huawei has successfully created in the smartwatch space. After many unique and increasingly interesting models, this is the watch the brand wants to become a market standard, especially in the areas of design and functionality.
If at first glance this is a traditional watch, its use and attention to detail make it all show. This (almost) piece of art is now available in our marketplace, so Pplware will reveal what makes it stand out and unique.
Watch or smartwatch?In fact, both
One of Huawei’s best bets is in its smartwatch space. It has developed in a unique way and is today one of the main players, mainly thanks to the different models it has launched, always in the direction that the Watch GT 3 Pro represents.
This new Huawei proposal plays a big role and is a big bet for the brand as it debuts new materials and new design lines. The 46mm models feature a titanium finish, while among the models designed for a female audience, there is a unique ceramic proposal not often seen in other brands.
In fact, if we see the well-known line of Huawei smartwatches in the 46mm model, then the truth is that it innovated and revolutionized the design. Solid and well constructed, its details and cutouts stand out and elevate the central crown of this watch. This detail is attested by our use, in this case the dial stands out even more.
This is clearly a high-quality device, almost luxurious, but it becomes affordable and easy to use every day. Sturdy, beautiful and well-built, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro stands out for the sobriety and quality it exudes. Despite its size, the watch is not heavy and does not cause discomfort during daily use.
Interestingly, we’ve received many questions about this device, especially about its design and functionality. This detail ensures that the smartwatch will be yet another success story for Huawei.
The model available to Pplware is a 46mm strap with a leather strap, but the brand has several proposals in the same model, such as a version with a titanium bracelet and a version with a black fluoroelastomer strap.

Unique designs and noble materials are always present
This smartwatch stands out with its unique design, where all the elements come together in a natural way. The sapphire display is durable and has anti-scratch protection for normal everyday use and more aggressive situations.
On the right side we only have two buttons, each with a different shape and function, and the rotating titanium crown sits on top, giving you full control of the watch.
From our usage during testing, using the crown to navigate the Watch GT3 Pro’s interface became almost natural. The second button was eventually reconfigured for a more obvious function, and that’s because the movement aspect wasn’t the most important to the user.
There’s a button/sensor underneath, which allows access to motion functions, configurable and customizable, but it has more functionality. This is actually an EKG sensor that will soon be used to do EKGs.
The most inconspicuous part is even the lower area, where Huawei has placed all the sensors on the Watch GT 3 Pro. In addition, we have a loading area made of nanocrystalline ceramic for permanent comfort.
During testing, the area never felt uncomfortable or overheated. The presented materials guarantee this almost imperceptible presence.
days of autonomy
Following Huawei’s performance in other models, the standout of the Watch GT3 Pro is the battery. As promised by the manufacturer, we managed to get 14 days of normal use.
Using wireless charging, charging is simple and quick, and relatively fast. In our tests, these values once again lived up to the promise: 25% battery charge in just 10 minutes, or 100% charge in less than an hour and a half.
In models that specifically target female audiences, these values drop slightly. We had 7 days of typical use battery life and 4 days of intensive use with slightly longer charge times.
HarmonyOS, App Gallery and Apps all exist
Huawei’s choice to support the Watch GT 3 Pro can only be one of them. We’re talking about HarmonyOS, which is still a solid choice from our point of view. This release continues to provide users with the correct elements without the necessary additional functionality.
Still, Huawei continues to invest in its systems and wants to give you more. The possibility to demonstrate this is the use of apps that complement and augment the products we can use on this watch.
Like the previous model, all communication between the GT 3 Pro and the smartphone is based on the Huawei Health app. This has grown and is a showcase for collecting and interpreting data, as well as the management of watch faces and even installed apps.
Huawei’s experience in this field is the result of its many years of creating smart watches and smart bracelets, and it is very representative. The maturity of the app allows easy and fast reading of data, as well as managing connected devices.
In the tests conducted, no Huawei smartphone was used, and even then, the behavior of the app was impeccable. It’s easy to find and install on the Android Play Store, just like the Apple App Store, connecting the Huawei GT3 Pro to your smartphone is simple, fast, and doesn’t require any complicated procedures. All we had to do was read the QR code on the case of this watch, and we were taken to the app.
Neither in configuration nor in daily use, there are no problems and the integration is transparent, whether on Android or iOS. This looks like a native app and it gives users a lot of freedom not to worry.
Another interesting feature of the Watch GT 3 Pro is that it can answer calls directly on the watch. Like previous versions, they arrive via Bluetooth and guarantee good call quality.
In addition to all these features, sensors and unique design, the new Huawei smartwatch has GPS and NFC. This is a legacy of previous models that are still present and useful in everyday life.
Focus on user health and well-being
Although it’s a classic watch with all the features of a smartwatch, Huawei wants to make the Watch GT 3 Pro a central point for collecting user health information.
The Watch GT 3 Pro provides a range of useful and important information to measure heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress monitoring. These elements are used to monitor the user and can be permanently activated and controlled.
Each of these user health data streams is individually controlled and requires special attention.
When evaluating the data collected, whether related to sleep or measuring heart rate and SpO2, the values are close to real data, some of which are even validated by specialized medical equipment.
The sporty aspect of an elite smartwatch
What the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro cannot lack is its entire sporty aspect, despite its premium appearance.
Huawei wants to cover almost all areas of physical activity, so it made sure the Watch GT 3 Pro can track over 100 activities. These are varied, focused on professional sports or simple late afternoon runs or trips to the gym, and our experience with their use shows that.
Something the brand wanted to highlight and make a differentiating element was two sports. We’re talking golf, where professional stats such as hitting speed and time, backswing time and downswing time are recorded. There are even helpful demos and tips to take your game to the next level.
Another unique element is diving, the Watch GT 3 Pro has an IP68 water resistance rating of up to 5 ATM and can withstand a staggering 200 water pressure cycles. This ensures that it can be used for freediving to depths of up to 30 meters.
But is the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro really the right choice?
Huawei’s proposal stands out in two ways, making it an almost obvious choice for those looking for a top-of-the-line product. Furthermore, looking at the overall market, this is also a device that sets the standard in the fundamental areas.
We’re talking about battery life, build quality, and even the health information it can collect, process, and present to users. This is a proposal with a unique design that stands out naturally in the long list of proposals on the market.
The price of the 46mm Huawei Watch GT3 Pro is adjusted according to what it offers, between 400 euros (black Viton or grey leather models) or 520 euros (titanium models). The 43mm model, on the other hand, is priced at 500 euros (white leather) or 620 euros (ceramic model), thanks to the use of ceramic, a unique construction material.
Huawei has once again demonstrated its core and soul in the smartwatch space. These proposals continue to improve and gain functionality, with their unique design and functionality placing them at the top of consumer preference lists.
