The S22 Plus makes occasional appearances here and at Canal Oficina da Net, but we haven’t had a dedicated demo for this guy. Today, however, we’re going to have one of the best phones ever with a Samsung device.
It’s been a while since the S22 Plus came out of Samsung’s oven: February 2022 is its official launch. The brain of this chariot consists of a Qualcomm’s most advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, working with Adreno 730 GPU. As for memory, we have today the unique option of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Take a look at our competitor’s screen, which has a physically sized 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with full HD resolution and a very high refresh rate of 120Hz. An important detail to note is that the S22 Plus doesn’t have a QuadHD resolution option. , like the S22 Ultra, we finally have a battery for this Galaxy, which supports a 4500mAh energy capacity.

Next, the price of the S22 Plus has dropped slightly since its launch, but it’s still as expensive as a premium smartphone: 5,680.00 Brazilian Real.
what do we play
As for the games we tested, we had a total of 6 names: Asphalt 9, Call of Duty Mobile, Free Fire MAX, Genshin Impact, PUBG Mobile and Life After.
Since this is a large test environment, we’ll pit the Galaxy S22 Ultra against the S22 Plus. The processor is the same for both, the only difference between the two is the size of the memory, battery, and maybe one or another software optimization.
Finally, before we start testing, let’s re-emphasize that since the S22 Plus is a flagship machine, all games played here are in Highest graphics quality, all the effects are activated, right? Now, let’s get started.
As always, we start everything with Asphalt 9. The gameplay is very satisfying, and there’s not much to say here. The game runs very well, doesn’t crash, and is beautiful. 58 FPS average, 100% stability and 3 hours 35 hours battery life. The S22 Ultra captured 60 frames that the competition couldn’t, but with 98% stability, it was almost a draw. Its autonomy is 2 hours 40 hours.
✔️ Sealed Nimbus✔️ for both smartphones.
Call of Duty Mobile (BR)
COD sometimes does some work for the device we tested here, but that’s not the case with the S22 Plus, check it out. Gameplay is very smooth, with only one or two frames out of two at best, but that doesn’t affect the experience at all. The plus signs are as follows: Average 60 FPS with 100% stability, feedback. I would say that its autonomy is a bit low, with a duration of 2:45h. The S22 Ultra also performed well, taking the classic 60fps with 100% stability. But here is the autonomy, far more than the plus: 4:00h duration.
again, ✔️ Sealed Nimbus✔️ to each other.
Free Fire MAX
Fogo Gratuíto is a well-run game, right? The performance of the S22 Plus is as perfect as ever, reaching 60 FPS, 100% stability, calibrated. His autonomy is 2:30h, our lowest value to date. The S22 Ultra almost hit the benchmark on Frifas, but unfortunately it averaged 58 fps with 100% stability, which is clearly not bad. It is again more autonomous, with a battery life of 4:00h.
That is, the two took ✔️ Sealed Nimbus✔️ in FOGARÉU.
Genshin always brings us questions about smartphone performance that didn’t exist before. For example, the very good S22 Plus ended up holding back its performance. Playable, but be aware that FPS doesn’t skyrocket all the way to 60. His average frame rate is 52 fps, stability is 99%, and battery life is 2:10h, very low, by the way. The S22 Ultra almost hit the mark, getting 59 FPS at 100% stability, which is an amazing score. However, he has the same autonomy as his rivals: a duration of 2:10.
✔️ Sealed Nimbus✔️ for both smartphones.
PUBG was absolutely nothing special in our test today. The S22 Plus hits the highest performance cap in games, hitting the typical Average 40 frames, 100% stability, and battery life of only 3:10h. The Ultra was about the same, hitting 40fps on average, with 100% stability and a 3:50h battery life.
as always, ⚠️Wheel hub seal ⚠️ Both work on PUBG Mobile.
Life After is an interesting case as it always draws more from our Roda Liso smartphone. The S22 Plus did get an average of 45 fps, but the stability was so low it’s a shame: only 60%. His autonomy is the lowest in this game, with just 1 hour 55 hours of battery life. To your surprise, the S22 Ultra lost the last round. It averaged only 42 frames, with 61% stability and a battery life of 2:25h.
This time is different, ✔️ Sealed Nimbus✔️ Only available for S22 Plus.
We set the ambient temperature to 24°C, and after playing a few games of COD Mobile Battle Royale, the S22 Plus’s surface temperature rose by 14°C, a figure that can become quite uncomfortable on a hot day.
It’s a fact that the S22 Plus is a great smartphone. He’s been fantastic in all competitions and he hasn’t had any major issues in any of them. My only complaint is its battery life, which is well below the average we usually see here. For example, other devices like the POCO F3 also have 4500mAh capacity, but they last much longer during gaming.
○ S22 Plus It’s great and super fast, just be careful not to hang on the socket all the time, okay?
With that in mind, the Galaxy S22 Plus honorably gets ✔️ Sealed Nimbus✔️ in our tests.
