 Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, has tested positive for the coronavirus, Bloomberg first reported, the latest person close to the president who has been infected in a growing post-election Trump campaign outbreak.

A spokesperson told Bloomberg the president’s eldest son is asymptomatic and isolating.

The spokesperson added that Trump Jr. was infected earlier this week.

Trump Jr. is one of several people close to the Trump campaign who have been infected after the election, including Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani’s son, Andrew, advisor Corey Lewandowski and HUD Secretary Ben Carson.

Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, already had the coronavirus back in July.

“Don tested positive at the start of the week and has been quarantining out at his cabin since the result,” the spokesperson for Trump Jr. said. “He’s been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all medically recommended COVID-19 guidelines.”

Since September, the White House and Trump campaign have been roiled by three separate outbreaks infecting more than 36 people, including Trump himself, the First Lady and their son, Barron. A number of Vice President Mike Pence’s aides tested positive at the end of October. And a growing number of close allies to the president tested positive after attending an election night party at the White House.
