Diversity Dolls is a collection of 10,000 diverse NFTs dedicated to supporting “women of color” in a variety of fields such as the STEM profession, special needs and HBCU and more.

Fayetteville, Georgia – June 13, 2022 – NFT collections are all the rage, but some only offer collectible investments and some rare ones offer the potential to change and contribute to society. This is exactly what happened to Jr. Bernadin’s recently launched Diversity Dolls NFT Collection, dedicated to “Women of Color”. This unique NFT concept is about improving diversity and inclusion in under-represented sections of society.

A lot of people really want to be involved in helping worthy causes that target underdeveloped areas like STEM, but don’t know a place or center dedicated to supporting these important causes. Diversity Dolls aims to address some of these issues while encouraging exceptional talent and ideas from women of color. A portion of the proceeds will go to a foundation where NFT holders can vote on various initiatives and activations.

The Diversity Dolls NFT Collection is part of Openexus’s “NFTs for a Cause”, which is designed to raise awareness of various public interest causes and to empower its community to support these causes. In a recent interview, Jr. Bernadine, creator of the NFT collection, commented, “Each variety is uniquely made up of over 180 possible features, including doll nationality, skin tone, hair style, clothing, eyes, and more.”

He said, “Some Diversity Dolls feature themes that include but are not limited to: STEM, HBCU, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Health, NF, Sickle Cell, Diabetes, Cancer, Vitiligo, Hearing and / or Visual Impairment, and more. Regardless of the rarity of the combined features, each NFT sends an important message about the beauty of diversity and why representation is important. ”

NFT is part of Web3.0 and enthusiasts are very inspired to make sure that it is not dominated by some people, but will include women of color and all underdeveloped groups in society who want to be involved. It is often referred to as the next generation of the Internet because of its blockchain.

At a recent press event, Gavin Wood, who coined the term “Web 3.0” in 2014, commented, “Web 3 is actually an alternative aspect of the web, where the services we use are not hosted by a single service, but by the provider. It’s a kind of purely algorithmic thing that, in some sense, is hosted by everyone. So, it’s very peer-to-peer. No one really has any advantage over anyone else, the idea is that all participants contribute a small portion of the final service. ”
