Seasons: A Letter to the Future, a Melancholy Adventure

Canadian studio Scavengers Studio recently revealed the release date of their upcoming game Season: Letter to the Future.

It’s an introspective adventure that can turn out to be very interesting.

The development team at Scavengers Studio, based in Montreal, Canada, have been busy creating their next game, Seasons: Letters to the Future.

It's a third-person "atmospheric" adventure, as the person in charge describes it, and it's set to release on PC, Playstation 5, and Playstation 4 this fall.


SEASON: The letter to the future takes as a starting point a village lost in the mountains deep before the chaos of the big city.

It's a calm and peaceful place and no one sees any reason to leave. For generations, no one has left the village to venture into the "outside world." However. until Estelle.

Estelle is a girl full of life, dreams and problems...in her world, every season of the year is a completely different time. As if it was a unique historical period with its own events and peculiarities.

Estelle takes her bike as her travel companion on an adventure to the outside world. Leaving your village, you will discover all the sensations, images, sounds that exist outside and record these moments for the future. SEASON: A Letter to the Future is a game about memory and a sense of loss.

SEASON: A Letter to the Future's gameplay is largely based on exploring the world and places Estelle has been to. Along the way, the girl will have the opportunity to meet new people, hear their life stories, and discover a world completely foreign to her before this.

Estelle's curiosity drives her to capture everything she sees and hears. Sounds, music, art, architecture, voices of old people, voices of religious ceremonies... in short, clues and evidences of those moments that are about to pass.


Seasons for PlayStation 5: A Letter to the Future:

  • Adaptive Triggers: Players will use triggers to pedal the bike, with resistance that changes based on speed and surface type.
  • Haptic feedback: With the different textures of each terrain the bike traverses, changes in soil type are noticed on the controller.
  • Tempest 3D AudioTech: Sound is produced to provide a high-quality "sound image" to the world we explore, with particular attention to the dimensional accuracy of the sound source.
  • Fast Loading: Nearly instantaneous loading times make this adventure an almost instant experience with no delays or wasted time.
